Who We Are
Our Discovery Squad is a year-long leadership program for talented, outgoing, and committed young adults (ages 14-17) who want to take on a leadership role at Children's Museum Houston or the Fort Bend Children's Discovery Center. As a member of the Discovery Squad, youth volunteers assist with exhibits, activities, and programs, gaining valuable experience and making a real impact. Participants are asked to complete at least 75 hours of volunteer service during the summer or throughout the school year.
Please note that selection for the Discovery Squad is based on a competitive application and interview process. Applications for the 2026-27 program will open in April 2026.
